There are usually two different types of attendees roaming the aisles of TECHSHOW’s EXPO Hall – the “curious” and the “users!” While the users are often interested in visiting with service and product vendors to see their latest releases and the like, they are sometimes making a bee line for a vendor’s booth to talk through specific concerns or to learn how to perform particular functions in the product. To give way to the ever-growing number of attendees who are new to TECHSHOW and to provide a little more room for the curious to ask questions in the vendor booths, the EXPO Hall this year features a new TECHSupport area.
The new TECHSupport area gives conference vendors a place to have technical support staff situated outside their main vendor booth, and be on the ready to help their existing customers with product-specific issues. Attendees can come armed with their specific questions and problems to get vendor-led tech support onsite without having to fight through the hustle and bustle taking place in their vendor’s main conference booth.
Clio and netDocuments will be among the vendors answering questions about their products. TECHSHOW attendees should check signs in the EXPO Hall for a complete list of participating vendors and hours of operation.
Natalie Kelly, the TECHSHOW Planning Board Chair, says, “I’m excited about adding this new option to the EXPO Hall at TECHSHOW this year, and think it will be a real draw for conference attendees in the future as more and more vendors opt to have their tech support issues managed in this space.” Kelly indicated that this is just one of the new things to look for at TECHSHOW, and we can’t wait to see how it turns out. You can check out the current list of TECHSHOW exhibitors here or directly on the TECHSHOW conference app (available for iOS and Android devices).
