Between the ESIGN Act and UETA (Uniform Electronic Transactions Act), more and more lawyers are signing digital documents with an electronic signature. In many cases, an “original,” penned signature is not required and the “facsimile” of a signature is sufficient. This session will teach you how to create a transparent signature file for signing your electronic documents and other methods that might work better for you. We’ll also explore online services which facilitate “digital signatures” for you and your clients.
