Judy Selby has over 25 years of complex insurance coverage litigation and international arbitration experience, handling large scale, complex first and third party insurance matters involving a variety of insurance policy forms. Cyber insurance product development and policy wordings experience informed by deep knowledge of cyber and privacy laws, evolving technologies, and related liabilities. Also experienced in cyber/privacy incident response. Judy also advises clients concerning compliance with privacy and cyber security laws and regulations and drafts technology-related contracts. She co-founded the eDiscovery and Information Governance teams at an AmLaw 100 law firm.
She been an invited speaker at prominent industry conferences on privacy, cyber, and related insurance issues, and I has been featured in various publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Fortune, Forbes, and Reuters. She has authored three eBooks: A Closer Look at Cyber Insurance, Demystifying Cyber Insurance, and Big Data for Business Leaders. In addition to her law degree, she has completed advanced courses at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the areas of big data, crisis management/business continuity, cybersecurity, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
