Vanderbilt Law School
A lawyer with nearly 30 years of practice experience, Cat Moon is a Professor of the Practice at her alma mater, Vanderbilt Law School. There, she founded and co-directs the Vanderbilt AI Law Lab (VAILL) the first AI-focused lab housed in a US law school. VAILL is part of the Program on Law & Innovation (PoLI) at Vanderbilt, which Cat also co-directs. Her work as a teacher and practitioner focuses on how we can use technology like generative AI in combination with human-centered design principles and methods to realize our vision for equal access to legal information, understanding, and help for all.
