Elizabeth (Beth) Overmoe is the Strategic Plan Coordinator for the State Bar and has served in that role since 2015. As the Strategic Plan Coordinator, Beth works with state bar staff and volunteers to develop initiatives and programs to fulfill the purposes of the state bar strategic plan. Beth was also appointed to serve as co-coordinator of state bar’s pro bono program, Access to Justice, Inc., in the summer of 2016. Beth works closely with one additional staff person to match eligible applicants in need of civil legal assistance with volunteer attorneys throughout the state. Prior to working with the state bar, Beth was a staff attorney and program director with Disability Rights SD. Elizabeth received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota and graduated from USD School of Law in 2010. Beth is a past president of the SD Young Lawyers Section and is the current SD Young Lawyer representative to the ABA House of Delegates.
