Reid Trautz is the founding director of the AILA Practice & Professionalism Center, where he advises lawyers how to improve their businesses and ethically innovate the delivery of legal services to their clients.
He is a past chair of ABA TECHSHOW and has been a member of the faculty for more than 14 years. Today he serves as Co-Chair of the ABA Law Practice Division Futures Initiative and co-authors the Future Proofing column for Law Practice magazine. He also currently serves as co-chair of the Virginia Bar Technology and Future of Practicing Law Committee.
Reid is an elected Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management. In 2012 he was honored in the sophomore class of the Fastcase 50, recognizing innovators in legal technology. He is also a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers.
Prior to his focus on the business of practicing law, Reid was a partner in a 5-member firm in Alexandria, Virginia.
